“Mangoes to Share” began as a Miami based community project. Its initial focus was on feeding the homeless with neighbors’ fruit surplus, but it rapidly expanded to other areas.
Currently, Mangoes to Share is working on THREE PROJECTS:
First Project: Achieving food security for the Orphaned Children and internally displaced people in Northern Nigeria by planting Edible Gardens.
Second Project: Providing education to promote peace by collecting used laptops in the USA, filling them with e-books and educational materials and delivering to schools and orphanages in Nigeria.
Third Project: Collecting surplus fruit seasonally and donating it to homeless shelters in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
We see interconnections which link us to all other life.
“If you light a lamp for another, your own way will be lit.”
We believe that the more we care for the happiness of others, the greater our own sense of well-being becomes. Sharing is caring and caring leads to happiness.
Education Leads to Peace
